Duffy kids

Yesterday we had our first Duffy School assembly. A person named Zinkie from this book named Dream Catcher came to Paihia School to give out these free books so we can read them in class and at home. Then she said she will give us a one million dollar signature only if we answer some questions. Then after that she went back home and we said bye. Then we went back to class and we read our new books. It was so fun.

Technolgy

In Te Ngahere we have been doing technology. We are making a plant holder. We are nearly done we just need to do two more blocks and put a hole in them and a garden. Tarquinn and Rymadyss just need to finish theirs and we need to sand them so they look good. I like doing this because we don't go outside that much and because Pep is here to help us do it too. Mr Lindsay brought some tools so we can make a project for the school. Mr Lindsay gave as an idea if we wanted to make something for the school. So we made a choice and made a plant holder.

In Te Ngahere we have been doing technology. My group is making shelves. We need to sand the pallets. But we have most of our pallets done we only have like two more to sand. When they are finished we are going to sell them. For our school camp next term.  

breakfast

In Te Ngahere we have been learning about breakfast. We should always start  of with breakfast because that fills us up before we have morning tea. Everyone got given a card Bella and I got milo  cereal. We had traffic lights that represents if it can be good everyday, sometimes and never. Milo had to go

Fortnite

Kia ora my name is Leroy and I’m a year 6 from Paihia School. I liked your slide about Fortnite but you should make your characters move around. You also put in voice overs of you and your friends. It made me think about me playing Fortnite.

Heathy

In Te Ngahere we have been learning about being healthy with Whaea Gina. She talked about how much sugar are in different type of drinks. Then she picked random people to go up and and put the drinks in the right places. There was green for every day and orange for you can have one once a week then there was red that was for once a month. What I could do better to become healthy and eat less sugar.

Writing

We have been doing our writing about what we want to write about. I did my writing about quad bike riding. We were riding up at Waitangi. We were doing 2 laps each up the hill and down. Then 3 of my cousins came to Waitangi I had a turn on my little cousins 90cc quad.. We had a race I gave her a head start because our quad is faster than hers. Then my dad went out on the boat they went to go get a feed up the river. When they got back it started to rain so we went back to my house.
